Aren’t you ashamed to tell people that you have been sexually abused as a child?

Not anymore because there is nothing to be ashamed of to admit that you were abused as a child. The thing that is shameful is that someone would betray a vulnerable child in such a heinous way.  The shame always belongs to the abuser.
